Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta has operated for more than 85 years. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is to save and change the lives of children and teens, especially those who need them most, by providing a safe, positive and engaging environment and programs that prepare and inspire them to achieve Great Futures. The Flint River Community Center Boys & Girls Club is described as a welcomed addition in a community that has never had anything like it. The organization is led locally by Executive Director Michael Maxwell. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is a 501(C)(3) charity accredited by Charity Navigator and GuideStar and is supported by United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta reports that nearly 90% of their Club kids say they feel good about their future.
