WinShape Camps is a one-week day camp where campers take part in activities such as shooting an arrow, climbing a rock wall, playing basketball, singing songs, reading the Bible, rowing a canoe, and toasting a marshmallow. The daily schedule includes specific times for Rec!, Team Time, Village Rally, Snack City, Skill 1, Skill 2, Lunch, Worship, and Power Surge.
• Ages: 5–11 years old
• Schedule: One-week session, Monday–Thursday with daily drop-off at 8:15 am and pick-up at 5:00 pm
• Price: One-Week Session Rate $275
Campers bring their own lunch, and WinShape Camps provides snacks, which are nut free as part of a nut-aware approach to meals and snack times. All campers are required to submit a current physical and immunization record through the CampDoc Medical Health Profile, and all oral medications must follow specific blister packing and packaging guidelines, with snacks containing any type of nuts returned at the end of the session. WinShape Camps is a faith-based camp centered around Jesus, with age-specific content, a wide variety of skills, and a refreshed experience every year for campers completing grades K5–5th in a mix of indoor and outdoor moments, physical activity, and creative play. The program includes a Chick-fil-A family lunch on Friday, offers an auto-pay system for month-by-month payments, and provides 50% off tuition for first-time overnight campers as a First Time Camper Gift.
WinShape Camps’ mission is to glorify God by creating experiences that transform campers and families with the message of Jesus Christ. WinShape Camps launched its first overnight camp in 1985 on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and has been creating camps for the last 40 summers, with over 40 years of camp experiences. The organization offers 4 overnight camp experiences in Georgia and 75+ day camp experiences across the U.S., engaging over 30,000 campers each summer and employing over 800 professionally-trained Summer Staff from 100 different colleges and universities in 30+ states. Summer Staff are top-notch, college-aged students who complete an extensive application process, a 30-minute face-to-face interview, a background check, safety training, and a week of intentional development from experts. Through WinShape Camps for Communities and WinShape Camps International, the organization also runs day camp experiences in local neighborhoods and in Brazil and Costa Rica during the spring and summer, working with partners and local churches outside the United States with the message of Jesus Christ through the experience of camp.
