The Music Class

The Music Class offers music and movement classes that include creative movement activities and music written and recorded in-house. The program uses research-based music and movement and provides families with music so they can repeat the songs outside of class. Children in the program hear a wide variety of musical styles, meters, scales, rhythms, and instruments through song collections that feature recordings by Grammy-nominated musicians, including rock, jazz, opera, and traditional songs from around the world.

The Music Class Inc. (TMC) is an early childhood music education company that offers music and movement classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. The program features award winning music from around the world and offers both mommy and me style classes and a preschool music curriculum. The Music Class is a family-owned and operated business with core values of quality and inclusivity and embraces families from all cultures and backgrounds while standing against racism in both classrooms and music. The company was founded by Rob Sayer in Atlanta, GA, in 1998, and its leadership team includes founder and director Rob Sayer and COO Raina Sayer, who is also director of The Music Class in China. The Music Class offers programs in over a thousand locations worldwide, with over 1,000 locations and 75,000 students, and works closely with center directors around the world. Their small, dedicated office staff all either teach The Music Class or have attended classes with their own children. Their music collections feature recordings by Grammy-nominated musicians and include songs in different meters, scales, rhythms, and styles featuring real instruments and vocalists.
