About
The Music Class offers music and movement classes that use music written and recorded in-house and feature recordings by Grammy-nominated musicians. The program includes mommy and me style classes and a preschool music curriculum, with classes full of creative movement activities and music provided to families for use outside of class. Children in the program are exposed to a large variety of musical styles through song collections that include rock, jazz, opera, and traditional songs from around the world, using recordings with real instruments and vocalists.

Parent reviews describe The Music Class as including music pup classes, keyboard classes, and teachers who are engaging for children, with families noting continued learning of music, language, memory, and social skills at home. One parent reports enrolling every season for a year and mentions that their toddler pulls out the music book and instruments at home, and another notes that their 8-month-old recognizes songs from class and responds to tonal patterns. Several parents mention attending for multiple years and with multiple children, describe the classes as fun and creative, and highlight that their children sing the songs at home. Multiple reviews also mention teachers’ enthusiasm, the use of music theory in class plans, and the organization’s quick shift to virtual classes and open webinars during the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020.
