WAY2PLAY Sports offers school break camps and after school enrichment classes. The program is all-inclusive and places the health and wellness of kids as a top priority. Coaches in the program are expected to treat kids with kindness and respect.
• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Winter break camp the week of February 16–20, 2026, and spring break camp the week of April 6–10, 2026
WAY2PLAY Sports is led by Eric, the founder of the program and the Physical Education teacher at Teasley Elementary School in Smyrna. Eric has been named the Cobb County Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year, the 2023 Smyrna Citizen of the Year, Teacher of the Year twice, and NFL Play 60 First Down for Fitness Teacher of the Year. The program’s stated goal is to keep its offerings inclusive, to have coaches treat kids with kindness and respect, and to make kids’ health and wellness the top priority. One parent shared that their children have participated in the after school program, summer camps, and school break camps, and that the children are excited to talk about the new friends they meet and the activities they do, and that the staff genuinely cares about the kids.
