About
Camp Connect gives campers a week away that includes camp-wide games, boat rides, swimming, art, Bible study, marsh hikes, beach time, and nightly fun competitions. Each evening closes with a worship service, and activities are woven with a stated purpose of sharing Christ's love with every camper.

For over 70 years, summer camps for children and youth have been a ministry of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church at Epworth by the Sea. Camp Connect is a ministry of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. The mission statement for Camp Connect is “Connecting Kids with Christ. Everyday.” The Director of Camping & Retreats is Suzanne Akins.
