Frederica Academy Summer Programs

Frederica Academy Summer Programs include signature camps that feature field trips, special visitors, and water play. The Little Knights and Camp Knights programs are part of Frederica Academy Summer Programs, and specialty camps run alongside these offerings during the summer. Frederica Academy is an independent coeducational, nondenominational, college preparatory day school serving grades PreK-12 and offering education for students of all races, creeds, and nationalities.

• Ages: 3–11 years old
• Schedule: Signature camps such as Little Knights and Camp Knights run each consecutive week during the 9 weeks of summer, and specialty camps run for 9 weeks. Little Knights program hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Camp Knights offers full-day, morning, and afternoon sessions.

Heather Day serves as the Frederica Academy Director of Summer Programs. The mission of Frederica Academy Summer Programs is to maximize adventures within the community by providing engaging and meaningful experiences to enrich the development of mind, body, and spirit. Signature camps incorporate field trips, special visitors, and water play, and field trips are incorporated into these camps as part of maximizing adventures within the community. Frederica Academy seeks support from parents and the community in maintaining high moral and academic standards, and states that a well-rounded education is based on a respect and appreciation for the local community. Lead Teachers must be 20 years or older and hold an up-to-date First Aid/CPR certification or attend the training provided, and Camp Counselors are between the ages of 15 and 19 years old, possess a basic understanding of First Aid, and hold a CPR certification.
