Camp Icthus offers activities such as swimming, fishing, playing games, and meeting new friends. Campers spend time in an outdoor recreation setting while learning about a real and personal relationship with God. Campers spend a week away from the “modern distractions” of the culture.

Camp Icthus states that its purpose is to encourage a growing relationship with God in an outdoor recreation setting. The values and desired ends of Camp Icthus include bringing glory to the Lord Jesus Christ, developing one’s relationship with God and others, allowing God to demonstrate His power and provision, enhancing one’s vision for the salvation and spiritual growth of others, encouraging one’s obedience to God’s Word, and exposing others to God’s attributes and character through that which is created. Campers receive overnight boarding, meals, a t-shirt, a camp book with schedule and devotions, and activities for Teen Camp, and overnight boarding, meals, a t-shirt, a camp book with schedule, devotions, activities, and a backpack for Kid’s Camp. Camp Icthus has a counselor/camper ratio of approximately 1:10, and counselors are responsible for leading activities, small group Bible studies, and supervising campers in the cabin. Counselors are committed Christians above the age of 18 years old and are selected on the basis of maturity and a heart for God. As a nondenominational organization, Camp Icthus focuses only on the fundamental elements of Christianity and states a commitment to provide each child with a clear understanding of the Gospel and how to grow in their faith. For every camper that registers before April 11, there is a $25 early registration discount, and families can request 10 Prayer Mugs at registration. Camp Icthus held its first summer camp in 1988, and in 1992, Icthus Camping Ministry was incorporated as a non-profit organization.
