Athens YMCA Camps / Camp Chattooga for Girls offers a resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-14. Girls ages 15-16 can take part in the Leader In Training (LIT) program, a 4-week program that includes traditional camper activities and overnight trips.

• Resident camp — Boys and girls ages 7-14 · $945 per session · Traditional camp for children ages 7-14. Cost includes $45 Store Fee.
• Leader In Training (LIT) — Girls ages 15-16 · A rigorous 4-week program focused on authentic Christian leadership. Participants also participate in traditional camper activities and overnight trips.

• General schedule: Girls are kept very busy during their time at camp. A typical day consist of cabin cleanup, league games, rest hour, classes, free-time, morning and evening assemblies, evening activities and cabin devotions. Three meals are squeezed into the daily routine.

The program has a tradition since 1898 and is in its 127th season. Its mission statement says the girls camp programs include fun, traditions and Christian values in a rustic setting, with personal development and spiritual growth in a safe, protective environment.
