The program takes place on a site that includes four distinct camps on one property, an 8 acre lake, and a multipurpose Gymnasium. The 120 acre wooded setting is used for group retreats and summer camp rentals, with a capacity of over 400 beds and services for more than 11,000 people annually.

• Ages: 6–18 years old

Woodland Christian Camp & Retreat Center states that it exists to provide opportunities for Christian growth in a natural setting. The organization was created in 1969, with the original property purchased that same year, an additional 56 acres purchased in 1982, and more acreage added in 2000 to build Heritage Camp and the multipurpose Gymnasium. A challenge ropes course was added in the 1990s, and the site now includes a railroad-themed “Woodland Junction” camp that was aided by the donation of 12 boxcars by Southern Railway, Inc. The camp facilitates leadership training where Christian principles are taught and/or modeled and provides retreat facilities for ministries and non-profit groups, with a minimum required group size of 16 for events and 12 for ropes course events. Since 1969, Woodland has partnered with churches and organizations to provide this setting, and it is unable to host weddings or family reunions due to its retreat and summer camp calendar. The leadership history lists Earl Hobson as Executive Director beginning in 1971, Joey Westbrook as Executive Director beginning in 1981, and Pete Dockery as Executive Director beginning in 2022.
