Woodland Christian Camp & Retreat Center offers access to a challenge ropes course described as an instructor-led outdoor adventure of self-discovery and team building. The program takes place on a site that includes four distinct camps on one property, an 8 acre lake, and a multipurpose gymnasium, with capacity for over 400 beds.

Woodland Christian Camp & Retreat Center was created in 1969. In 1982, an additional 56 acres was purchased for a second camp and the 8 acre lake. In the 1990s, a challenge ropes course was added, and in 2000, additional acreage was purchased to build Heritage Camp and the multipurpose gymnasium. One of the camps, called Woodland Junction, has a railroad theme and was aided by the donation of 12 boxcars by Southern Railway, Inc. The stated mission of Woodland Christian Camp is to provide opportunities for Christian growth in a natural setting.
The leadership history lists Earl Hobson as Executive Director in 1971, Joey Westbrook as Executive Director in 1981, and Pete Dockery as Executive Director in 2022. Woodland Christian Camp & Retreat Center was established by a group of Christian churches to offer a place for Christian youth from the Atlanta-metro area to camp, retreat, and fellowship, and it provides retreat facilities for ministries and non-profit groups.
