RUSH Ministries Camps and Outdoor Experiences offers Christian camps, community missions, concerts, retreats, and outdoor experiences. Activities at The Ridge include a ropes course, ziplines, and a Clay Shoot, along with events held under a pavilion that is available for rental.
R.U.S.H., which stands for “Reaching Unchurched Students for Him,” was organized in 2004 as a weekend event held in LaGrange, Georgia. In 2009, it grew into an event partnered with Truett Cathy’s The Rock Ranch in The Rock, Georgia, and in 2015, RUSH “ONEDAY” was hosted at their newly purchased property in Meansville, Georgia. The ministry states that its mission is to make a difference in the life of a child through camps, outdoor activities, concerts, and community involvement, and to inspire those individuals to become leaders and make a difference in their community, with the stated goal of reaching as many people as possible with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making a difference in the lives of families, businesses, and individuals. RUSH Ministries is a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry. The organization states that community is a top priority, that reaching the next generation in local communities is key to building a successful and healthy community, and that it helps individuals and churches create and promote events around the Southeast, relying on sponsors, partners, and volunteers for each of its events and engaging in overseas mission work.
