Legacy Theatre operates as a professional live theatre in South Atlanta and has produced over 100 productions for thousands of patrons. It presents family-oriented shows in a 180-seat theatre and offers Legacy Backstage for exclusive access and deals. The theatre has inspired budding artists through its classes and conservatory.
Legacy Theatre is operated and was founded by Mark Smith and Bethany Smith. Their first production, “A Christmas Survival Guide,” was scheduled to open on November 24, 2006. Bethany is a singer, dancer, and choreographer and has worked as a teacher and choreographer at Doris Russell School of the Performing Arts in Tyrone. Mark studied theatre at Abilene Christian University and worked as a film and drama teacher at Landmark Christian School in Fairburn.
