MGCAA Head Start

MGCAA Head Start offers Head Start enrollment support and information for families. The program provides an enrollment pop-up where families can receive free cotton candy, popcorn, and bookbags while supplies last. Staff are available on-site to answer questions and help families get started with enrollment.

The mission of the Middle Georgia Community Action Agency, Inc. is to empower low-income individuals and families in Middle Georgia by providing comprehensive services that address immediate needs and promote long-term self-sufficiency, in collaboration with community partners. MGCAA Head Start will be on-site at Galleria Mall to answer questions and help families get started with enrollment. For Head Start enrollment at the Galleria Mall pop-up, families are asked to bring, if available: the child’s birth certificate, immunization record (Form 3231), child’s Social Security card, proof of income for the last 30 days, Well-Child Check form, and insurance card. The leadership team includes Tammy Sosebee as Executive Director.
