Burke County Family YMCA Youth Programs include After School Child Care, Play & Learn Child Care, Summer Day Camps, and other youth programs, along with access to lap swimming, recreation and swim instruction, water slides, a splash pad, and a lazy river. The program is part of a facility that also offers group exercise classes, personal training, and a golf tournament, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, spinning theater, perimeter walking trail, community meeting room, outdoor track, outdoor bathhouse with restrooms, showers and lockers, and a large deck with shade features and a picnic area for events and gatherings.

• Schedule: Branch hours run Monday–Thursday 5:00am–9:00pm, Friday 5:00am–8:00pm, Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm, and Sunday 1:00pm–4:00pm; Play & Learn operates Monday–Thursday 5:00pm–8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm; the outdoor pool and water park are open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, with the water park season beginning May 23, 2026.

The Burke County Family YMCA opened in 2019. Its mission is to serve individuals and families in the CSRA through programs designed to build healthy spirit, mind and body, reflecting the values of the Judeo-Christian tradition while maintaining respect for all people. The leadership team includes Craig Miracle, Senior Vice President; Charlie Prescott, District Vice President; and April Parker, Executive Director, Burke County YMCA. The Burke County Family YMCA Golf Tournament supports programs and services for families in need, and the YMCA describes itself as a cause-driven organization focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, with programs, services, and initiatives that enable youth to realize their potential, offer families ways to have fun together, empower people to be healthier in spirit, mind and body, welcome and embrace newcomers and help foster social responsibility.
