AYSO Region 100 Kailua-Waimanalo follows the mission of the American Youth Soccer Organization of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The region is led by Michael Karon, President of AYSO. Michael Karon received the Stack Leadership Award from Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering. The program is part of AYSO initiatives that include Balanced Teams, Everyone Plays, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development, AYSO PLAY!, AYSO 2023 National Games, AYSO's National Annual General Meeting, Return to Play Guidance, and AYSO Kicks Off PlaySoccer Events. The broader AYSO organization is involved in partnerships such as those with Chicago Public Schools, the U.S. Center for Mental Health & Sport, Northland Sports Alliance, and BEEUP Snacks, and supports U.S. Soccer to improve SafeSport.
