Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy offers classes in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The program includes specific courses such as Gracie Bullyproof, Women Empowered, Gracie Combatives, and the Master Cycle. Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy is 100% dedicated to the restoration of the ART of Jiu-Jitsu and makes sure that every single student that walks onto the mat learns self-defense first. It offers specific programs for each group: Gracie Bullyproof for kids ages 3–14, Women Empowered for women, Gracie Combatives for beginner adults, and the Master Cycle for advanced practitioners. Each program follows a set curriculum so students know what they will learn before class, and every student is issued an attendance card to track daily progress. In the beginner programs, there is no competitive sparring, and beginner techniques are learned in a fully cooperative environment for 8–12 months, with a culture of collaboration and mutual benefit.
Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy is an official Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center, and these centers are authorized to teach the proprietary self-defense programs developed by Gracie University Headquarters in Torrance, California. Upon enrolling, students receive a free subscription to Gracie University Online with access to detailed video instruction on every technique. Active students qualify to train for free at any other Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center, including Gracie University Headquarters in Torrance, California, and they receive credit on their attendance card for lessons completed at other Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Centers. The academy offers a 10-day free trial with unlimited access to all beginner group classes for 10 calendar days.
Both Noel and Ryan have undergone extensive training directly under Ryron and Rener Gracie, and Central Oahu Jiu-Jitsu Academy became an official Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Center in 2015. One parent from Wahiawa, Hawaii, reports having an 8-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son who attend and describes Coach Noel and her staff as truly amazing and expresses strong satisfaction with the training center.
