The Belle Plaine Youth Football Program offers tackle football for youth, including introduction skills for tackle football. The program is a division of the Youth Sports Foundation and provides full equipment for participants. It is available to any Belle Plaine school area youth entering 5th–6th grade in the fall of 2025.
• Ages: 10–12 years old
• Schedule: Begins the week of August 11th and runs for 6 weeks, with games held on Sundays beginning in September
The Youth Sports Foundation states that it was created to provide the opportunity and the means by which any child at the 3rd–7th grade school age can actively participate in an organized sport that values personal integrity, team and leadership skills in a fun and healthy learning environment. Donations play a large part in allowing the Youth Sports Foundation the opportunity to scholarship athletes throughout its programs.
