Treasure Valley Family YMCA Youth Programs include activities such as Kids Night Out, games, swimming, rock climbing, birthday parties, and time in the Family Adventure Zone and gymnasium. Families can also take part in Family Fun Nights, Trivia, BINGO, movie nights, cookouts, and races and fun runs. The programs offer swim lessons, sports, STEAM, art, child care, preschool, before and after school options, fitness and arts activities for youth, education and leadership experiences, camp programs including overnight camps and programs at Y Camp at Horsethief Reservoir, and swimming, land and water sports, weight loss and nutrition, disease prevention and management, wellness coaching, workplace wellness, group exercise, baby/parenting wellness, and races and triathlons as part of healthy living programs.
• Schedule: Facility hours run Monday–Friday 5am–9pm, Saturday 7am–6pm, and Sunday 7am–6pm, with Kid Zone, Open Climb, and pickleball offered at set times on specific days, and special holiday hours on major holidays.

The mission of the Treasure Valley Family YMCA is to strengthen the foundations of community by developing successful youth, engaging people in healthy living, and instilling a commitment to social responsibility. The West Boise YMCA and Boise City Aquatic Center opened its doors in 1996. The West Boise YMCA and Boise City Aquatic Center operates as a partnership between the YMCA and the City of Boise, and the Treasure Valley YMCA operates 23 childcare and preschool sites across the Treasure Valley and partners with many groups and organizations to provide hundreds of youth programs. The Treasure Valley YMCA has partnered with Project Filter to host a Quit Week Challenge in support of the Great American Smokeout, and the YMCA and Wilder School District are working together to help families in Wilder, Idaho. Financial assistance is available for swim lessons and for preschool and school-age child care, Kids Night Out is a free event for members, Family Fun Nights are free for YMCA members, live aquatic capacity counts are available, and the Treasure Valley Family YMCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. All non-active guests age 18 and older must present a valid government-issued ID to access any YMCA facility.
