About the provider
Christian Youth Theater began in 1980 and trains more than 14,000 young people annually. Its mission is to develop character and creativity through quality theater arts training that bring families and communities together while reflecting Jesus. The program also includes Christian Community Theater, which allows families the opportunity to perform together.
Class sizes are small and offer supervision both inside and outside the classroom. Students not cast in a show are encouraged to participate in other ways, depending on age, including backstage crew, props, technical team, or the costume committee. All students ages 8-18 registered for a class are eligible to audition for that session's production. No other prequalifications required.
