About the provider

Idaho Ballet Theatre was created in 2003 by Brandy Jensen. The mission statement says it trains young dancers for classical ballet while building self confidence and strong character. The school performs Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker every December, and at least two ballet productions each year provide students with performance experience. Abbey J. Lasley attended American Ballet Theatre’s New York City summer intensives for five consecutive summers, received the American Ballet Theatre National Training Scholar award from 2011 to 2013, and competed in the Youth American Grand Prix competition for multiple years, placing in the top twelve in both Classical and Contemporary categories.

Instruction is provided in a fun, positive environment with age appropriate rigor. Classes are offered at all levels from pre-ballet, beginning ballet to advanced technique and pointe. Performance is integrated into the curriculum as an essential element of training. The Princess Ballet Summer Camp is for ages 3-6. IBT teaches all skill levels.

What families say
