The academy says no one is left behind. For kids, it states classes use a balance of structure, discipline, fun, and play; at least 2-3 adult coaches supervise kids classes; belt progression is based on attendance, attention, participation, character off the mat, and skill improvement; and the school enforces acceptance, respect, and care for others.
