About the provider

Tim Corcoran and Jeannine Tidwell are the co-founders and co-directors of Twin Eagles Wilderness School. Since 2005, the school has offered day camps for ages 6-13 and overnight camps for ages 10-18. Its mission statement says it is a nature and wilderness survival school focused on deep nature connection, mentoring, community, self-awareness, and outdoor and earth-based experiences. It also offers seasonal family/community sessions throughout the year and works with the whole family in mentoring children.

Monthly youth programs have a high mentor-to-student ratio of at least one-to-six and a maximum enrollment of 30 students. Spring break camps have a 1-5 staff-to-camper ratio. Summer camps offer an honesty guarantee with a pro-rated refund if a child leaves before camp ends. Scholarships are available for some programs.
