Aurora University Youth Soccer Camps offers specialized training that focuses on technique and tactics, individual skill development, team play, and the development of techniques and foot skills through soccer specific activities. Campers take part in skill development sessions that include both the technical and tactical side of soccer.
• Ages: 4–14 years old
• Schedule: Week long half-day camp with morning sessions
• Price: MINI SPARTANS (4–6 year olds / Pre-K–1st grade) - $70; FUTURE SPARTANS (7–14 year olds / 2nd–8th grade) - $120
The MINI SPARTANS camp uses soccer specific activities and is structured for younger children. In the FUTURE SPARTANS camp, skill development is the main focus, and the tactical side of soccer is introduced for players who want to gain an edge in their game while still emphasizing skill development in a fun environment.
Aurora University Youth Soccer Camps is directed towards training boys and girls 4–14 years old who are interested in playing soccer. The camp is led by Camp Director Troy Edwards and Ryan Lakin. Instructors have played and coached at a variety of competitive club and collegiate levels. The AU Youth Soccer Camp’s stated focus is that campers receive specialized training of the highest caliber, gain knowledge of technique and tactics while combining individual skills with team play, and develop techniques and foot skills necessary to succeed at any level of competitive or recreational soccer. All campers must turn in a Sport Camp Release Form.
