Jaynesway Farms Horse Camps offers horseback riding lessons, pony rides, and children's summer and holiday camps called Horse Camp. Campers learn basic horse care, how to groom and tack, and basic riding skills, along with crafts and games. The program also includes Schooling Horse Shows, Spring and Fall horse shows, and participation in local and national equestrian events such as IHJA Shows, Region 5 USEF, County Fairs, Fox Hunting, Eventing, and ISC shows, as well as English and Western riding lessons and pony parties.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer Camp runs June through August, Thanksgiving Camp runs in November, and Holiday Camp runs from December through January, with camps operating Monday through Friday from 9am to noon
• Price: Camp fees are $85 per day
Horse Camp (Holiday and Summer) is offered during June through August, November, and December through January, and campers can attend one day or multiple days. Campers must be at least five years old, and no prior riding experience is necessary. Spring and Fall horse shows are held every year and are available to all students and boarders to demonstrate their riding skills. Pony rides are offered on Saturdays and Sundays, and pony parties are available in Ponyland or at a family's location. Scouting troops can earn their animal/pet badge or pin at Jaynesway Farms. The program states that gentle horses and safety first instructors combine to provide a valuable learning experience for children, building self-esteem and confidence, and it is led by qualified and knowledgeable staff.
