The Studio by Kat Wilson offers Combo 1 for ages 3-4, Combo 2 for ages 5-6, Combo 3 for ages 7-8, Beginner/Intermediate Jazz/Ballet Class for ages 7-10, Beginner/Int. Ballet Class for ages 8-11, Advanced Ballet Class for ages 11-16, Stretch and Conditioning for ages 11-16, and Leaps and Turns for ages 13-17. Classes include dance fundamentals, creative movement, jazz, ballet technique, tap, cardio and strength conditioning, stretching exercises, and the technical execution of leaps and turns.
Programs
- Combo 1 — 3-4
- Combo 2 — 5-6 · Extension of Combo 1. Continues to progress with basic fundamentals of dance and replaces creative movement with Jazz.
- Combo 3 — 7-8 · Further explores more advanced fundamentals in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Can be used as a transition into competition as well.
- Beginner/Intermediate Jazz/Ballet Class — 7-10 · Upbeat, energetic introduction to the fundamentals of jazz dance. Also learn classical ballet technique.
- Beginner/Int. Ballet Class — 8-11 · Students will learn classical ballet technique.
- Advanced Ballet Class — 11-16 · Students learn and explore ballet technique and continue to delve into a classical ballet education.
- Stretch and Conditioning — 11-16 · Combines cardio and strength conditioning while teaching key stretching exercises.
- Leaps and Turns — 13-17 · Focuses on the technical execution of leaps and turns.

About the provider
Kat Wilson is the Studio Director. She has been performing and teaching within the dance community for nearly 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in jazz from Point Park University, and her career includes performing with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and The American Dance Company. All students perform in the annual Spring Recital and at local and national competitions throughout the year.
Children must be at least 3 years old and potty trained to join Combo 1.
