The Studio by Kat Wilson

The Studio by Kat Wilson offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, jazz/funk, hip-hop, tumbling, creative movement, stretch and conditioning, and leaps and turns. Each class is one hour long and meets once a week.

• Schedule: Summer classes start June 15, 2026, with one-hour classes meeting once a week in a 5-week session
• Price: 5 weeks for $55; No Summer Registration Fee

The Studio by Kat Wilson was established in 2019. The studio director, Kat Wilson, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a concentration in jazz from Point Park University and has been performing and teaching within the dance community for nearly 20 years. Her experience includes performing with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and The American Dance Company, judging for national competitions, and teaching multiple styles of dance classes across the country. Students she has worked with throughout the years have won several awards regionally and nationally.

According to the studio’s mission statement, dancers tone more than their bodies and also build skills like perseverance, creative thinking, and collaboration, and the mission is to help students grow into poised, well-rounded young women and men who are dedicated to succeeding in dance and in their lives beyond The Studio. All students perform in an annual Spring Recital, and the studio performs at local and national competitions throughout the year. Dance instruction is offered from basic to advanced levels, with a competition dance team option. Children must be at least 3 years old and potty trained to join Combo 1.
