Evergreen Racquet Club Junior Programs include tennis, pickleball, racquetball, and fitness activities. The programs offer lessons, clinics, leagues, a WINTER JUNIOR ACADEMY, and PICKLEBALL FUN DRILLS and PRACTICE for juniors.

• Schedule: Club hours effective September 1, 2025 are Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–10:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am–8:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and Sunday 8:00 am–8:00 pm.
• Price: Adult and family memberships are available April 1 at half price, with rates of $100 for singles.

Evergreen Racquet Club Junior Programs take place at a state-of-the-art tennis center that has 12 courts, an aerial viewing lounge, full locker room facilities, a fitness center, and a racquetball court. The club offers a Virtual Club Tour and uses COURTS of DREAMS LIVE STREAM and SCOREBOARD, and Redbird tennis teams play indoor matches there.

Evergreen Racquet Club was founded in 1972 by a group of tennis enthusiasts. It has grown into a state-of-the-art tennis center with courts available for group play and a full line of lessons, clinics, and leagues for tennis, pickleball, and racquetball. Evergreen has been an active member of the USTA, and Redbird tennis teams play indoor matches at the club. Colleen’s philosophy is that tennis is a “life sport” to be enjoyed and loved by people of all ages, levels, and experience.

The leadership and coaching team includes General Manager Colleen Curran, Assistant Manager Bridget Larkin, and USPTA Pro and Head Professional Matt Runyan, who is also Director of Junior Programs. Other staff include USPTA Pro Joe Totten; tennis pro Jeff Brumleve; tennis pro and I.H.S.A. hall-of-famer Ed Rozboril; USPTA Pro Roger Juers; professional Megan Rozboril, who enjoys working with the Juniors; USPTA Pro and personal trainer Bob Runyan; and Pickleball Teaching Professional Kat Smalley. Staff backgrounds include collegiate tennis experience, high school and collegiate coaching, youth ministry, and leadership roles such as President of the Bloomington Normal Tennis Association and Director and Creator of Match Play at the Snyder Pavilion for grade school and junior high players.

Evergreen Racquet Club has received recognition including USTA Facility of the Year and a US OPEN AWARD. Pickleball Teaching Professional Kat Smalley holds a Level II Instructor certification through the IPTPA and is the first female in Illinois to achieve a USAPA 5.0 rating.
