Foss Swim School offers swimming lessons that include baby swim classes, Backfloat Baby, Learn-to-Swim, Swim Stronger, Swim Faster, and options for private and semi-private lessons. The program also offers Four-week Progress Builder Swim Camps and Two-week Progress Builder Swim Camps, with students attending multiple lessons per week depending on the camp format.

Foss Swim School uses a Swim Path® curriculum that focuses on enjoying water, floating, flipping to breathe, and standard strokes, with small classes of 3 or 4 students to 1 teacher and teachers staying with their classes for the full quarter. The program is taught in quarters rather than ongoing monthly enrollment, with a natural learning cadence that includes breaks between quarters and no monthly fee requirement. New families can schedule a free preview lesson that includes a tour of the school, meeting the teachers, and a custom level recommendation, and families can also purchase FOSS gift cards, goggles, suits, and other items, with a mini shop available in the front if something is forgotten.
Foss Swim School was established in 1993, and the same leaders have been in place for over 30 years. The school is led by General Manager Lauren N., Assistant Manager Gaby L., and co-founders Jon and Susan Foss, who originally started Foss Swim School out of a rented pool as the only two employees. Swimming is the only activity offered by the organization, which is not a franchise selling a system, and families that swim with FOSS are considered part of the FOSS family.
The mission of Foss Swim School is to provide a lifetime of confidence and safety around water while creating fun and memorable connections for families and team members, delivering quality service and striving for uncompromised safety, while pursuing excellence and providing twice as many quality swim lessons every five years.
