Kankakee River State Park Riding Stables offers trail rides, carriage rides, pony rides, horse rides, and riding lessons for beginners. The program also offers cowboy themed birthday parties for children and adults, scouting activities with therapy ponies, volunteer opportunities, and fall and winter wonderland activities.

• Schedule: From April until mid-November, weather permitting, the program offers trail rides, pony rides, horse rides, and riding lessons for beginners; carriage rides are offered year round, weather permitting.
Trail rides at Kankakee River State Park Riding Stables are guided by experienced wranglers.
