Clinton County YMCA Summer Day Camp includes outdoor games, crafts, swimming, board game tournaments, carnival games, basketball, soccer, and sand volleyball. Campers take part in sports-themed crafts, team-building activities, bubbling scientific experiments, expressive art projects, water games, aquatic challenges, and cooking activities that focus on making quick and easy recipes.
• Ages: 5–15 years old
• Schedule: Weekly camps from May 18–August 3, Monday–Friday, with camp hours from 8:00 am–5:00 pm; Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program runs with hours from 8:45 am–4:00 pm and has a minimum commitment of 4 weeks
• Price: Weekly rates of $125 for Y members and $160 for non-members for most weeks, with Week 2 at $100 for members and $128 for non-members; Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program costs $50 per week
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program is for teens ages 13–15 and includes hands-on experience working with campers while building leadership, responsibility, and confidence. Applications for the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program open February 1 and must be submitted by March 27, 2026. The camp is led by a Camp Director named Brittany, and Brittany Kuhl is the contact for the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program.
The Gateway Region YMCA states that it offers financial assistance to those who qualify, with financial assistance opportunities supported by contributions to the Gateway Region YMCA Annual Campaign. The Gateway Region YMCA provides inclusive and adaptive programs with trained staff and accessible spaces to support camp opportunities for children with diverse abilities. The Y states that it stands by the belief that everyone should have the chance to be part of the Y, irrespective of their financial means.
