Broadview Park District Youth Programs

Broadview Park District Youth Programs includes Beginner Piano Classes for ages 5 and up, Youth Boxing, and Yoga Studio. Before & After Care is also available, and it includes school transportation for Lindop Elementary, Roosevelt Elementary, Garfield Elementary, Irving Middle School, Washington Dual Language Academy, and Komarek Elementary.

• Before & After Care — Before care 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM; after care 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM · $50–$125 per week

About the provider

The Broadview Park District has been servicing the Broadview area for more than 50 years. Its mission is to economically and efficiently provide high quality programs, facilities, and services that lead to diversified recreational, educational, and social opportunities for Broadview residents and improve quality of life through the use of the district and all it has to offer. Broadview’s own Olympic Silver Medalist, Kennedy Blades, was welcomed home, and the district announced the Kennedy Blades Media Center at Pioneer Park. The district also held a Juneteenth celebration at Schroeder Park where community members gathered to celebrate and honor Kennedy Blades.

Splash Pad at Schroeder Park is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, free, and no reservations are required unless being used as a facility rental. Code of conduct prohibits liquor and drugs, defacing/destroying park property, profanity and foul language, and motorized vehicles except on designated drive areas; pets must be on a leash and owners must clean up messes; advertisements, handbills, and pamphlets may not be distributed without approval.
