Camp CILCA Outdoor Ministries

Camp CILCA Outdoor Ministries offers activities such as hiking, games, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, archery, creek walking, crafts, basketball, volleyball, softball, disc golf, and fishing. The program also includes Bible studies, campfire singing, and devotions as part of its regular camp experience.

• Ages: 4–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer sessions run from late May through early August, with different camps scheduled for specific grade levels based on the 2025–2026 school year.

Camp CILCA Outdoor Ministries offers a summer program of week-long camps and outdoor experiences for students of all ages and abilities, along with specialty camps such as Art, Drama, Night Owl, Aqua, Athletics, and Survival weeks. Guest presenters and coaches lead training sessions, scrimmages, drills, and rehearsals during these specialty camps. Camp CILCA is open to everyone whether they go to church or not, and non-Christian friends are informed that camp is a fun way to learn more about God and His love for everyone. Children can stay in cabins that their grandparents once used.

For over 70 years, Camp CILCA has served the needs of many different congregations, businesses, and families throughout Central Illinois and was founded by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. Camp CILCA is a non-profit Christian camp. Its mission statement says that Camp CILCA exists to foster and strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and relationships with others in a unique outdoor setting. Camp CILCA has served the community with moderately low prices and a stated willingness to help serve the community. The leadership includes Pastor Joshua Theilen.
