Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs was formerly known as Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township. The organization’s leadership team includes CEO Amanda Schleede, Chief Operating Officer Drew Glassford, and several directors overseeing operations, athletic services, family connections, leadership development, digital media and IT, pathways, finance, and specific club sites. It has been recognized as a 2025 Hero for Youth and has been noted as a leader in providing significant impact and outcomes to youth served, leading the Midwest Region in many areas and exceeding national averages, and is associated with the 2026 Roxanne Spillett Program Excellence Award. In community involvement, the organization, in partnership with Districts 220 and 300, is submitting an application for a Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant to expand access to afterschool opportunities, and it offers a free backpacks and school supplies giveaway for Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northwest Suburbs families while supplies last on August 11–14 from 12–6 PM, with a parent or guardian required for registration. A testimonial from Katherin R., the 2026 Youth of the Year, states, “The Club became a place where I learned to understand my emotions, grow through challenges, and believe in myself.”
