About

LSCA Summer Camp offers over-night traditional camps that include campfire gatherings, canoeing on Lake Springfield, biking, fishing, sand volleyball, and time at the pool. Every day of every session ends with worship around the campfire, and Bible studies, vespers, devotional times, campfires, and all-camp activities are organized around the camp’s Christian goals as a Christ-centered camp. Biking and fishing are highlighted as part of Adventure Camp, with biking as a morning activity and fishing described as an Adventure Camp favorite, and the sand volleyball pit and pool are noted as favorites during recreation times.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Over-night traditional camps for 2nd through 4th grade stay one night and two days, and camps for 10th grade through just graduated stay five nights and six days.

Since 1939, LSCA Summer Camp has run its programs with over-night traditional camps that cover a wide range of ages from 2nd grade through just graduating from high school, with the length of stay increasing for older age ranges. The camp’s mission is “TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO ENCOUNTER AND GROW IN JESUS CHRIST, LED BY POSITIVE ROLE MODELS EXPRESSING GOD'S LOVE IN A CAMPING/RETREAT ENVIRONMENT.” The GROW Project is described as a cluster of needed improvements and repairs to make the grounds more accessible and to better provide for guests, and a packing list is identified as an information item for summer camp. The facility is available to churches, families, para-church, and other not-for-profit organizations.
