About

Codeverse is an award-winning coding platform where kids build real apps and games using real code. Through the Codeverse Studio online creation platform and a monthly kit, kids design, code, and launch real apps and games by following guided Missions that teach coding and creative skills. The program also includes tools to create with characters, animations, sounds, and other creative tools, and kids can create Missions for others within a safe, kid-powered community where they code, play, earn badges, and share their work.

• Ages: 6–13 years old
• Price: Plans start at $9.95/month. $25.95/month for a monthly kit + full access to Codeverse Studio. Free shipping. Cancel anytime.

Each monthly kit unlocks new projects, challenges, and surprises inside Codeverse Studio, and kits include step-by-step challenges, collectibles, and surprises. The difficulty and tools in Codeverse Studio grow with the child’s skills, unlocking harder challenges and more advanced tools over time, and a Skills Dashboard allows parents to track progress in real time. Codeverse reports that kids have built over 500,000 games on the platform, and the monthly kit ships in 48 hours, with no coding experience needed to get started.

Codeverse states its mission as “Empower Every Kid to Create.” The leadership team includes Katy as CEO, Brittany leading Design, and Craig as Chairman. Codeverse notes that it is backed by leaders from world-class organizations and describes this support as “Backed by the Best.”

Parents and kids have shared that a 7-year-old daughter “loves it” and is “learning useful skills while having a great time doing it,” and that one child feels “so proud” when testing code and seeing it work. One parent describes Codeverse as “the only screen time I don’t feel guilty about” and says their daughter made an app and now wants to be a game designer, while another says their son sends his work to family and teachers and that “everyone is impressed.” Kids report that they “like to code” to make “cool games and apps to play with,” that they have been having “a lot more fun lately creating” video games and sending them to family and friends, and that they “love Codeverse” because they can make games and share them with friends. One parent compares Codeverse to “the vitamins inside a chocolate cake: teaching critical skills while having a blast,” and another says Codeverse has “discovered a way to make computational thinking a fun and enjoyable experience for all ages.”
