Summer Camp and School’s Out Day Camps includes indoor and outdoor activities for children. The program also includes swimming in an indoor pool, where campers use a 6-lane, 25 yard pool. An afternoon snack is provided during camp days.

• Schedule: Day camp runs from 7:50 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with optional before-camp care from 6:30 to 7:49 a.m.; 2025–2026 full-day camps are offered Friday, March 27; Monday, March 30 – Friday, April 3; and Monday, April 6, with half-day camps on Monday, April 20 and Wednesday, May 6
Campers need to bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration but can contain microwavable items and a drink, along with a swimsuit and towel, gym shoes, and a book to read. Full and Half Day Camps are a place for children to go when school is not in session. Day camp is not available if school is canceled due to unforeseen emergencies, including snow, cold, or power outage. Pearce Community Center states that Summer Camp and School’s Out Day Camps are part of its youth programs as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to athletic recreation, fitness classes, youth programs, and senior activities for the Chillicothe community and surrounding areas. Pearce Community Center notes that, as a local not-for-profit small business, monetary donations help it provide a place for many to relieve stress or maintain physical health through exercise, a place for school children to attend camps, a place for children to engage in youth sports, and a place for seniors to socialize.
