Joyful Arts Movement offers classes for ages 1–7, classes for ages 7–18, and adult classes. The studio has over 20 years of experience in the dance industry. The leadership team includes Ms. Nicole (Owner & Director), Ms. Abby (Dance Teacher & Founder), Ms. Carrie (Dance Teacher), Ms. Kara (Dance Teacher), Ms. Jayme (Dance Teacher), Ms. Haley Grace (Dance Teacher), Ms. Mary Jo (Hostess), Ms. Grace (Hostess/Dance Teacher), Ms. Beth (Dance Teacher Apprentice), and Ms. Maura (Dance Teacher Apprentice). Ms. Nicole has over 32 years of dance experience, and Ms. Abby has been teaching dance for over 20 years and previously owned GYDA for 17 years before passing it on to Ms. Nicole. Ms. Carrie skipped 8th grade and earned two master’s degrees, Ms. Grace graduated from cosmetology school and specializes in nails, Ms. Beth is a black belt in martial arts, and Ms. Maura has been dancing for 14 years.

Joyful Arts Movement describes itself as a vibrant and welcoming dance studio that fosters creativity, self-expression, and personal growth, with a commitment to inclusivity, support, and artistic expression. The studio states that its mission is to make the community shine through the power of dance for children and adults, encouraging joy, optimism, growth from challenges, and positivity, with a personal approach and attention to clear communication, grace, and teaching life lessons through dance and the arts. The program highlights core values that include Joy, Community, Family Friendly, Age Appropriate, Grace, Giving Back, Confidence, and Leadership, and it describes itself as a happy community for creative people. Joyful Arts Movement offers a student-teacher program for students aged 9 and up to assist in classes each week and presents two major performances that are curated to be family-appropriate in costumes, choreography, and music, with an emphasis on age-appropriate classes, costumes, and music. Studio rental is also available.
