The Arts Academy at First Christian Church offers 2026 Summer Workshops that include Art Time, Art Exploration, Stop Motion Movies, Beginner Woodworking, Lyrical Dance, and Intermediate Sewing. The Stop Motion Movies workshop combines LEGO building, storytelling, and movie-making using a stop motion app. Beginner Woodworking introduces students to the fundamentals of woodworking in a safe, creative, and encouraging environment. Lyrical Dance focuses on lyrical dance techniques with a Christ-centered focus and explores movement as a form of worship. Intermediate Sewing is for students who already know basic sewing and covers more advanced techniques. Each workshop has a set number of students: Art Time, Art Exploration, Stop Motion Movies, Beginner Woodworking, and Lyrical Dance each allow 10 students, and Intermediate Sewing allows 5 students.
