Kiddie Junction For Kids Only Summer Camp includes daily swimming lessons, daily music, daily arts and crafts, and daily nature hikes. Campers take weekly field trips, visit parks, and join weekly cook outs. The program also includes special days such as Backwards Day, Olympics, Kids Garage Sale, and “Cream a Counselor,” along with arts and craft projects, song, music, and dance.

• Schedule: Open Monday–Friday with extended hours from 6:00am–6:00pm, offering the full 11 weeks or selected days
Since 1983, Kiddie Junction has been making a positive difference in the lives of children. Kiddie Junction For Kids Only Summer Camp is a supervised day camp that uses the Kiddie Junction bus for transportation and requires camp shirts that are purchased with registration. The program has certified teachers specializing in early childhood education, low teacher-to-child ratios, and low staff turnover. It is a fully licensed and accredited facility, participates in the Quality Rating System in Illinois, and is accredited by the National Child Care Association, National Child Care Professionals, McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The program is open 12 months a year with convenient hours for working parents, offers half-days on a limited basis, and has a secure building with locked entries, sign-in and sign-out requirements, and a safe drop off and pick up system with ID required for alternate pick up. Families have access to open communication with camp counselors by phone during camp hours, an open door policy for parents to join daily activities, and weekly lesson plans so parents know their child’s activities for the week. The center also encourages parent involvement through a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) that has guided the center for over 15 years, and features a newly renovated gym area with a climbing wall, saucer swing, ball pit, dramatic play area, play-doh, and Lego centers.
