For Kids Only Summer Camp is a supervised day camp for children ages 5-13. The program has been running since 1983. It is a fully licensed and accredited facility and participates in the Quality Rating System in Illinois. It lists associations with the National Child Care Association, National Child Care Professionals, McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Community activities may include Backwards Day, Olympics, Kids Garage Sale, Cream a Counselor, Halloween parades, Easter egg hunts, visits from the local Police and Fire Departments, and visits to local nursing homes.
Open door policy; parents may come and join their camper anytime during the day for daily activities. Parents must sign children in and out. If someone else picks up the child, the camp must be notified and that person must present proper ID before release. Camp shirts are required and can be purchased with registration. Extended hours are 6:30am-5:30pm including before care. The camp offers the full 11 weeks or days that you choose.
