About

Fall Recreational Soccer includes Recreational Fall Soccer with weekday soccer practices and Fall Soccer games. All participants take part in soccer practices and Saturday morning games during the fall season. Each player receives a team t-shirt and a season ending award.

• Ages: 3–13 years old
• Schedule: Practices begin the week of July 20th, with games on Saturday mornings from August 1st through September 19th and a rain date of September 26th; teams are formed after registration closes on Tuesday, June 30th, and there is a coaches meeting on Thursday, July 9th at 7:00 PM.
• Price: Resident $60, Non-Resident $70 per player, with $5 off each additional child; scholarships are available through the Helping Hands Foundation for Fon du Lac Park District residents based on financial need.

Divisions are coed and grouped as 3–4 years old, 5–7 years old, 8–10 years old, and 11–13 years old. Volunteer coaches are needed and must complete a background check at no cost to the volunteer coach. Shin guards with a sock over the hard plastic are required for all participants, soccer cleats are recommended but not required, and baseball cleats cannot be used because of the front spike. Class or game cancellations are communicated by email, on the Fon du Lac Park District Facebook page, and on local news channel websites under “Closings.”

The program is part of the Fon du Lac Park District, whose mission statement says it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, nationality, or disability in employment services, programs, or activities. The leadership team includes Sports Coordinator Kenny Pleimann, Park District Director Craig Weigle, Business Manager Erin Glover, Fon du Lac Park Chief of Police Dale Orr, Director of Golf Steven Blackburn, Superintendent of Parks Adam Mingus, Superintendent of Recreation Brealyn Whitaker, Spindler Marina/Campground Manager Amanda Hill, Fon du Lac Farm Park Manager Kylie Emert, Camp/Latchkey Supervisor Selena Quezada, Senior & Adult Program Supervisor Jackie Gorrell, Recreational Coordinator Kris Holcomb, Administrative Assistant Alison Miller, and Marketing Coordinator Kylie Brown. The Park District notes that scholarships are available through the Helping Hands Foundation and gives a shout out to Kelsie Griffin of Troop #4718 for putting together all the coach and referee information packets and producing all the videos for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project.
