About
Kids-N-Fitness Summer Camp includes creative arts and design, dramatic play and storytelling, art projects, and hands-on STEM activities such as science experiments. Campers also take part in outdoor play, group games, bean bag tosses, hula hoop games, and special enrichment experiences. The camp follows a Summer of Imagination curriculum with more than 20 weekly themes, and all campers receive a camp t-shirt, with school-age campers also receiving a kit that includes a t-shirt, backpack, and ID wristband.

Kids-N-Fitness Summer Camp is part of a curriculum-based childcare program that serves children from 6 weeks to school-age and offers full-time daycare programs only. The program uses clear routines that balance structure with creative freedom and includes safe, age-appropriate activities and environments. Families receive daily digital communication with photos of children’s activities, updates during meal and nap time, and the option for a parent-teacher conference.
Experienced, caring teachers trained in early childhood education lead the program. At Kids-N-Fitness East, Center Director Whitney has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education, and Center Director Carrie Dilbeck has 30 years of experience in early childhood education, holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, and belongs to several early childhood education groups in Illinois and nationwide. Kids-N-Fitness has been featured on WCIA’s ciLiving segment.
Most families pack a labeled water bottle, sunscreen, and a change of clothes for their child, and school-age families may receive additional reminders for field trip days. Children are asked to wear closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothing, and their camp t-shirt on field trip days.
