Galva Youth Sports Association offers youth sports programs that include Basketball, Football, Spirit Squad, Baseball/Softball, Volleyball, Soccer, and Golf. The school determines the gym schedule for all users, and the school’s needs take precedence for gym use.

Galva Youth Sports Association is organized and operated within the meaning of the Illinois General Not for Profit Corporation Act. It is a not-for-profit association organized and operated within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has a sales tax exemption certificate. The association’s purpose is to organize and administer sports programs for the youth of Galva, Illinois, with a goal of establishing athletic, recreational, and competitive sports programs that emphasize instruction in the fundamentals of each sport and the values of good sportsmanship, fair play, and teamwork. The organization provides by-laws, a code of conduct, and incident report documents for download. GYSA officers include President Brandy Funke, Vice-President Stephanie Orlando, Treasurer Jared Clark, and Secretary Rickelle Rice, with board members Brandon Owens, Jessica Ince, Chuck Yocum, and Curt Craig.
