The program also offers Summer Workshops, Birthday Parties, and Homeschool Art Curriculum, including homeschool and co-op programs. The 2-hour birthday package includes a 1-hour 15-minute art project, such as painting on canvas or working with clay, plus 45 minutes of party time, and the studio provides all art supplies and party space while families bring their own treats.

All teachers are CAC trained, and the age-based program focuses on teaching technique while introducing students to a wide range of mediums and different artistic applications. Students learn about art history, color theory, shapes, lines, color values, design, and many other topics across more than 40 areas of art. Children's Art Classes was established in 1997 by founder Barbara Gay, and its curriculum has been brought to thousands of children across the country.

The program serves families from Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, Elburn, South Elgin, Carpentersville, Elgin, Hampshire, Campton Hills, North Aurora, Saint Charles, West Chicago, and additional nearby communities. Gift cards are available, and the program states that art makes a great gift.

Children's Art Classes states that its mission is to provide a comprehensive art education program that enriches lives, raises self-esteem, and improves the academic performance of its students. The program reports that kids enrolled become more engaged at school, see improved grades and school performance, and that it has a 100% graduation rate. It also reports that classes give a therapeutic outlet for emotions and difficult life challenges, that kids gain self-confidence and recognition for their work, join a community, develop friendships, and that students develop their art skills, receive art scholarships, or pursue higher education in art.

Testimonials from parents describe children attending for multiple years, building art portfolios, and working in clay, pencil, and pastels, and they mention an end-of-year art show where students display their work. One parent notes that their child participated in both homeschool art classes and summer camp programming.
