Irish's Gymnastics Camps & Classes

Irish's Gymnastics Camps & Classes offers Competitive Team Camp, Recreational Summer Camp, Preschool Recreational Classes, Beginner Recreational Classes, a Cheer Tumbling Class, and Competitive Team Classes. The program includes activities on a 42 x 42 tumbling floor, a 100 ft rod tumbling floor, a 50 ft tumble trak with landing system, Euro double mini trampolines, full size competitive trampolines, low balance beams, rings, and a climbing rope. All new students receive one free trial class.

• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Competitive team camp sessions in 2026 on July 6 and 7 with separate morning and afternoon sessions; recreational summer camp in 2026 from 10:00 am–2:00 pm on July 8, 9, and 10; preschool and beginner recreational classes and Cheer Tumbling Class meet once a week
• Price: A $40 deposit is required to hold a spot in the competitive team camp and the recreational summer camp

The 2026 competitive team camp is open to members of Irish's Gymnastics competitive team and competitive USTA members from other clubs who are ages 4 and up, and it welcomes all USTA levels from Beginner to Elite, with campers sorted into workout groups based on their levels. The 2026 recreational summer camp is open to campers ages 4 and up of all ability levels, including competitive athletes, and campers are sorted into workout groups of ten or less based on age and ability level, with each group having two coaches and limited space. Preschool Recreational Classes are for ages 3, 4, and 5 and meet once a week, Beginner Recreational Classes are for ages 6 and up and meet once a week, and the Cheer Tumbling Class is by invitation or try out only for students who are ready to work on back handsprings.

Irish's Gymnastics has been in business for 30 years and has coached thousands of students during that time. Owner and head coach Danny Irish is an Air Force veteran and has coached hundreds of athletes to local, State, and National Champion titles. Danny Irish has been recognized as a USTA Illinois State coach of the year, USTA National coach of the year, and USTA Elite National team coach. Irish's Gym has produced a gold medal international competitor who represented the USA at World Age Groups and the World Championships. Irish's Gymnastics is now well into its second generation of students, with many former athletes enrolling their children in classes. The program states that whether a family is looking for a fun activity for a child to burn off energy and to gain confidence and coordination or to join the competitive team, it has a class that will suit those needs.
