Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Summer Camps

Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois Summer Camp offers summer camp for ages 5 to 18, with camp and outdoor experiences available during summer camp, day camp, and year-round. The program also includes day camp, overnight camp, and new family camp options. Archery, sling shots, and hay rides can be added to a reservation, and outdoor camp equipment can be rented for use at Camp Torqua or off-site.

Programs

• Summer Camp — 5-18 · Girl Scout Camp 2026. Camp and outdoor experiences can be enjoyed during summer camp.
• Day Camp — kindergarten and above · two or more consecutive days for three hours or more · Held in a variety of locations across southern Illinois. Day Camps vary in length and age groups served.
• Overnight Camp — all grade levels · Overnight Camps are girl-led. Older Girl Scouts can take on high adventure or horseback riding.
• Family camp options — New family camp options are available.

About the provider

Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. GSEF grant requests are not income based and can be applied for together with Financial Assistance requests. GSEF requests must be submitted by a Troop Leader/Treasurer or Service Unit Manager/Treasurer. Property rentals are available for non-Girl Scout groups at Camp Torqua, and registered Girl Scouts from another council are welcome for an additional fee and a shorter booking window.
