Junior Golf Camp includes personalized coaching, small group instruction, and interactive golf sessions. Campers take part in on-course instruction, drills and games, and focused short game, putting, and full swing practice. The program also includes course management instruction along with rules and etiquette instruction, and is offered at both novice and intermediate skill levels, with golfers assessed on the first day so the camp can be modified to fit each golfer’s skill level, using a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio and real course experience during camp.

• Schedule: Weekly sessions, Tuesday through Friday, 8:15 am–11:15 am

The Glencoe Golf Club, where the camp takes place, was established in 1921 and is administered by the Village of Glencoe in partnership with the Forest Preserves of Cook County. It is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary and manages and preserves 126 acres of open space in partnership with the Forest Preserves of Cook County. Unique features affecting camp operations include an adjusted rain policy due to construction of a new clubhouse, a full refund for any cancelled day due to forecasted significant rain, and a procedure in which junior golfers are brought into the Golf Shop and parents or guardians are contacted for pick-up if unexpected rain begins during camp.
