Youth Programs at Godley Park District

Youth Programs at Godley Park District includes Karate for ages 5 years through Adult. Karate is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with beginners only until 7:00 pm, and sessions are priced at $44 to $64 per session. The program also includes Family Bingo Nights for ages 5 to Adult on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with a $6 to $10 flat fee that includes a main course, dessert, drinks, and prizes; pre-registration is required and there are no walk-ins.

• Open Gym Pickleball — Adults · Dates & times will vary · $2 per class · Get out of the weather elements and come play pickleball in our gymnasium. Call ahead for availability.

• The Original Secret Pantry — anyone in any community · Pickups are every other Thursday. Times vary. · Free for anyone in any community who may be in need. Located at the Godley Park Barn, on the corner of Kankakee Street and Route 129. Join the group on Facebook for the most up to date information.
• Godley Resident Luncheon — Adults from the Village of Godley · Bingo starts at 10:00 am. Lunch is served at noon. · Complimentary luncheon. Bring your neighbor!
• Seniors Alive! — Those 55+ · Time: Bingo starts at 10:30 am. Lunch is served at noon. · Morning of bingo games, friendship, lunch & more.
• Gong Meditation & Celebration — Saturday, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm · $0–$25 · Gong Celebration is free (Free will offering accepted). Gong Meditation is another listed class name.
• Breath & Bodywork with Mary Griffin — Thursdays, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm · $10–$45
• Yoga with Violet — Fridays, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm · $20–$65 · Session includes Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga. Individual class dates listed are May 15, May 22, May 29, and next session Fridays, June 5-26.

Registration is accepted in person or by phone at (815) 458-6129 ext. 1. Payments can be made in cash, check or credit card. Phone registrations are accepted with credit card only. Please register by the deadline date to ensure classes, special events and trips meet the minimum number of participants. All programs canceled by the Park District will result in a full refund. Some special events and trips are non-refundable. New students are accepted in Session 1 ONLY for Karate.
