A & A Music & Art Academy was founded in 1982 by Anita and Don Komorski, with musical instruction beginning that year and art offerings added in 2005 through the Ontarioville Art Center. The studio reopened in a renovated historic building in Hanover Park’s Historical District in 1995, the Ontarioville Art Center was founded in 1997, and music and art were officially merged under one roof in 2023 as A & A Music & Art Academy. The academy has partnered with the Hanover Park, Bartlett, Carol Stream, and Hoffman Estates park districts since 1982 to offer seasonal mini group classes, and it participates in competitions through the Illinois Music Association.
