Heyworth Summer Youth League offers youth baseball and youth softball. The program includes in-house divisions and also offers Heyworth Swarm Travel Ball, with information organized through a master game calendar and league fields.

The Heyworth Summer Youth League is led by the 2025 HSYL Board of Directors: Brent Hanslow, Alisha Jones, Angie Murphy, Mark Streenz, Laura Cline, John Lambert, Adam Johnson, Gavin Sronce, Cody Behrens, and Ryan Freeman. The stated mission is to foster a positive environment of youth baseball and softball that promotes social, physical, mental, and moral development, with friendly competition and the goal of educating players about sportsmanship, teamwork, fellowship, courtesy, discipline, and integrity. The program notes volunteer opportunities and is involved with the Southeast McLean County League and the Heyworth Haunted Trail.
