Youth Golf Development Center

Youth Golf Development Center offers Summer Golf Camp for ages 5-15, Half Day Golf Camp for ages 5-11, Travel Golf Camp for ages 8-12, High School Prep Golf Camp for ages 10-15, and group and private lessons. Half Day Golf Camp runs Monday-Friday, 9am-Noon and is listed at $435-$450 per week. Travel Golf Camp and High School Prep Golf Camp run Monday-Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm and are listed at $875-$895 per week.

Programs

• Summer Golf Camp — 5-15 · Weekly options; June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, June 29-July 3, July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, August 3-7, August 10-14 · Registration for all camps are done directly through The Golf Practice.
• Half Day Golf Camp — 5-11 · Monday-Friday, 9am-Noon · $435–$450 per week · Level 1 of three summer camps offered in Highland Park; for beginners or students with limited experience; location: Highland Park Golf Learning Center.
• Travel Golf Camp — 8-12 · Monday-Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm · $875–$895 per week · Level 2 of golf camp offerings; includes 9 holes of golf each day; location: Highland Park Golf Learning Center and Sunset Valley Golf Club.
• High School Prep Golf Camp — 10-15 · Monday-Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm · $875–$895 per week
• Group and private lessons — Can take place at the Center.

About the provider

Sunset Valley Golf Club has been part of the Highland Park community for 100 years and is described as an award-winning golf club. The Center’s mission is to carry on the club’s tradition of being the primary community center for future generations to learn and love the game, and it says young people can learn discipline, fairness, and patience by practicing golf. Highland Park High School Girls and Boys Golf Teams, IJGA tournament players, PGA Junior Leagues, and Sunset Valley players also have access to the Center when it is not used for instruction.

Registration for all camps are done directly through The Golf Practice. The Center also serves as a practice facility for all Sunset Valley golfers when not used for youth golf instruction. Spectators must follow spectator guidelines at IJGA events. Children must be supervised at all times at some events.
