Youth Programming at The Community House

Youth Programming at The Community House is part of a nonprofit organization that offers community recreation and social services. The program is included among 336 recreation classes offered every year for adults and children of all ages, and it connects with activities in arts, theater, fitness, athletics, education, group outings, special events, and more. Every year, these programs reach 10,000 individuals and involve 600 volunteers who provide 9,894 hours of volunteer service.

For almost 80 years, The Community House has been a source for recreation and social programs in Hinsdale and the surrounding communities. The organization serves residents from Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Westmont, and Willowbrook, including residents of the Willowbrook Corner neighborhood who receive programs in recreation, learning, and education. The Community House is a nonprofit organization that offers both community recreation and social services to people of all ages and walks of life, and it delivers these programs through support from individual donors, memberships, program fees, and corporate partners, without receiving tax support.
